Product Development Specialist

ICAP Employment Solutions, on behalf of its client, a leading electricity provider, is seeking for a detail- oriented and innovative Product Development Specialist to join their team, in #Athens_Attiki !

Reports to: Head of Product Development

Responsibilities

• Understand and research markets, competition, and customer requirements in depth.
• Monitor competition activities, new product launches and promotional activities (offers).
• Understand the profiles and behavior of clientele as well as perform basic customer segmentation and profiling.
• Develop new products based on customers’ needs.
• Implement the pricing of the above products in collaboration with other departments.
• Research and compile reports, trend forecasts and competitive market analysis.
• Perform marketing analysis, proposing pricing for offers, above and below the Line activities and promotions.
• Work with all departments involved (Billing, Sales, Energy management etc) across organization for the proper delivery of new products.
• Provide assistance and actively participate in marketing activities.
• Execute Go-To-Market plans for new products & services.
• Ensure that all processes and mechanisms are correctly in place throughout the development process at all stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering or Marketing.
• Master’s degree would be an asset.
• At least 2 years of prior work experience as Product Developer preferred in services (telecoms, banks, energy).
• Strong communication skills and ability to cooperate as well as coordinate others.
• Strong time management and organizational skills in order to achieve monthly goals.
• Multitasking as well as prioritization of tasks within time schedules.
• Strong analytical, numerical skills as well as commercial orientation thinking.
• Effective ideation and benchmarking skills.
• A positive mindset, Team spirit, willingness to learn and take ownership of new and exciting products!

Other Knowledge:

• Excellent MS – office skills especially Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Power Bi and Data warehouse software will be considered an asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
