Overview

We’re looking for a Product Development Associate to support execution across multiple categories as we continue to grow our assortment. This is an early-career role for someone who wants to build deep craft in product development — someone energized by the details, motivated by ownership, and comfortable operating where creativity meets execution.

You’ll work closely with Product Development, Design, Production, and our global supplier partners to help bring new products to life — on time, at target margin, and at the quality bar our customers expect.

What You’ll Do

  • Support end-to-end product development across assigned categories, from concept through commercialization
  • Build and maintain development calendars, milestone trackers, and sample logs; proactively flag risks and timeline slippage
  • Partner with Design, and Production to ensure clear, actionable product and packaging briefs are delivered to suppliers
  • Coordinate sampling and revisions; support product fit, quality, and performance standards
  • Track and document costing; support vendor communication and escalate discrepancies early to protect margin
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in PLM and WIP systems to ensure clean handoffs and cross-functional visibility
  • Assist in translating product strategy into category-level development plans
  • Contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance product performance

Who You Are

  • 1–3 years of experience in product development, sourcing, production, or a related role (home textiles or soft goods preferred)
  • Highly organized with strong project tracking instincts; able to manage multiple timelines simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including supplier communication
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets; comfortable working with costing documentation
  • Experience working in PLM systems and/or WIP tracking tools

Nice to Have

  • Experience with BeProduct PLM
  • Familiarity with in fabric construction, product development processes, and quality standards
  • Experience in bedding, bath, sewn goods, or home textiles
  • Exposure to global suppliers and factory partnerships
  • Interest in process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Experience with color management

Compensation

Base salary range: $55,000–$65,000.
Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and market data.
