At DKB Code Factory, we build digital products that help millions of people manage their finances with confidence. As a Product Designer focused on Loans & Mortgages, you’ll work on one of the most complex and impactful areas of banking, turning intricate financial products into clear, usable, and trustworthy experiences.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product Owners, engineers, and stakeholders to translate discovery insights into meaningful product improvements and shipped outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of UX, service design, and product strategy, with a strong focus on real customer impact.

{ your_responsibilities: [

• Review, iterate, and validate mortgage discovery concepts through usability testing and close stakeholder alignment

• Analyze loan and mortgage user journeys to uncover usability issues and design high-impact UX improvements

• Translate discovery insights into shipped product outcomes and track success using metrics such as usability and engagement

• Contribute to product vision and roadmap discussions from a service design perspective, mapping end-to-end customer journeys

• Strengthen collaboration between design and product by improving handovers and establishing regular alignment with Product Owners

• Act as an advocate for customer-centric thinking within cross-functional teams

0–3 months

• Review, iterate, and validate mortgages discovery concepts, resulting in handover-ready designs or clear design recommendations.
• Analyze core loans and mortgages user journeys to identify usability issues and deliver high-impact UX improvements validated through user testing.

3–6 months

• Translate discovery insights into shipped product improvements for loans and mortgages, tracking success metrics such as usability and engagement.

6–12 months

• Shape product vision and roadmap from a service design perspective by mapping end-to-end customer journeys and influencing prioritization.

• Strengthen collaboration and customer experience advocacy across teams through regular alignment, clear documentation, and increased stakeholder satisfaction.

{ following_qualifications_would_be_in_line_with_our_desired_profile_for_this_position: [

• Proven experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer, ideally in financial services or digital lending products

• Strong hands-on skills with Figma (including FigJam), Miro, and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence

• Solid understanding of Design Thinking and discovery-to-delivery workflows

• Ability to analyze complex user data and turn insights into clear, actionable design solutions

• A proactive mindset, strategic thinking, and confidence working in cross-functional product teams

• Experience contributing to product vision and advocating for customer-focused outcomes

• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
