Product designer | Wordpress team

TLDR

Work on improving Hostinger’s AI-powered WordPress experience by tackling unique design challenges that enhance user success online.

AI website builders are everywhere. Most of them generate something that looks fine and feels forgettable. We want to build something better.   You’ll be working on Hostinger’s AI-powered WordPress experience- improving what we already ship, raising the quality of what gets generated, and rethinking the moments how we can help users be successful online.   This is a space where the design challenges are genuinely new. How do you give users meaningful control over AI output without overwhelming them? How do you make generated content feel personal, not generic? How do you design for a user base that ranges from total beginners to experienced developers? What You’ll Do
  • Design and improve the AI website building experience- onboarding, generation flows, editing, and publishing.
  • Identify where generated output falls short of user expectations and work with the team to close that gap.
  • Design AI interaction patterns: prompts, previews, suggestions, and controls that feel natural rather than technical.
  • Use AI tools in your own workflow to prototype faster, generate test content, and explore ideas at speed.
  • Research across a wide user spectrum- from first-timers who’ve never built a site to WordPress veterans with strong opinions.
  • Work closely with engineers and AI teams where design and model output are deeply connected.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years of experience designing for consumer-focused tech products.
  • Generalist mindset — you’re comfortable with UX research, interaction design, and visual craft without needing to specialise in just one.
  • You use AI tools in your daily workflow: whether that’s speeding up exploration, generating variants, or synthesising research faster.
  • Comfortable with HTML/CSS basics — enough to prototype in browser and collaborate closely with engineers.
  • Strong communication skills: you can present decisions, take feedback, and push back when needed.
  • Familiar with analytics tools (Amplitude, Hotjar or similar) — you let data inform decisions without being paralysed by it.
  • A portfolio showing real product work — process, thinking, and outcomes, not just polished screens.
  • Bonus: experience designing AI-assisted or generative product features, or any product where the output is created dynamically rather than statically.
  • What We Offer
  • Gross salary: 4,470 – 6,500 EUR/month depending on experience.
  • Access to Reforge, Coach Hub, global conferences, and physical/digital libraries.
  • Hybrid flexibility- modern offices in Vilnius and Kaunas, or work from anywhere.

  • Internal mobility and mentoring through TesoXchange.
