Product Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our India design team and shape user experiences across the Tellius platform. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data teams to craft intuitive, cohesive, and scalable user interfaces.

You should thrive in designing tools with complex data/AI/analytics components, including query builders, data visualizations, and natural language interfaces. You’ll own experiences that help users explore data, generate insights, and take action.

We already have a robust Figma-based design system, and your role will include evolving and extending it while ensuring consistency and usability across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UIs for AI/analytics features
• Extend and maintain our Figma-based design system, including components, patterns, and style guides
• Simplify complex data interactions into user-friendly, action-oriented experiences
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to align on user needs and business goals
• Prepare dev-ready designs in Figma, and support handoff through components and annotations
• Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on design solutions
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and performance across devices
• Stay current on data visualization, enterprise UX, and AI interface trends

Qualifications

Must-haves / Required (2-3 yrs experience):

• 2–3 years of experience designing complex web products (dashboards, analytics tools, BI platforms, or enterprise SaaS)
• Strong portfolio showcasing data visualization, interactive dashboards, or AI/conversational interfaces
• Expert in Figma for design, prototyping, and component creation (we use Figma exclusively)
• Solid understanding of data visualization best practices (e.g., chart types, comparisons, scale, interactivity)
• Ability to translate complex analytics workflows into simple, elegant interfaces
• Experience working with cross-functional product and engineering teams
• Awareness of front-end frameworks (React or similar), responsive layout constraints, and performance implications
• Clear communication and ability to explain design decisions to non-design stakeholders
