Product Designer, Stealth Start-Up Company

AI overview

Join a small, seasoned team at a seed-funded startup to build an AI-native platform, taking ownership of product decisions and creating impactful designs for complex workflows.

About the Organization:

We’re a Seed-Funded Startup developing an AI-native platform that converts messy human business intent into production-ready software. We tackle the gaps where current tools fall short in real-world enterprise environments, moving quickly to turn ideas into working systems.

About the Role:

You’ll be an early product design leader on a small, seasoned team building a 0→1 product—with real ownership over core product decisions and a direct line to the people who build it. Nothing is fixed: you’ll shape product direction alongside colleagues who bring deep experience in product, design, AI, and enterprise software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, ML, product, and design teams to define how users interact with and collaborate through the application.
  • Prototype and test new interaction patterns across the requirements → generation → verification cycle (e.g., conflict resolution, validation, evaluation) to guide strategy and reduce risk.
  • Create intuitive, high-impact interfaces for complex workflows that make difficult tasks feel simple.
  • Design experiences that demonstrate the platform’s value clearly and quickly for users and internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver product design end-to-end, from low-fidelity exploration to high-fidelity, production-ready flows.
  • Develop and maintain a scalable design language and component system.

Qualifications:

  • 5–8+ years of relevant professional experience designing digital products
  • Experience building products from 0→1 (launching new products or features at pre‑product/seed stages) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with user research methods and incorporating user insights into design decisions.
  • Strong problem-framing and problem‑solving skills — able to translate high‑level, open-ended problems into clear product goals and actionable solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to direct stakeholders on the problems the application should solve and align cross‑functional teams around outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work comfortably in ambiguous environments and thrive in fast-moving, early-stage companies.
