About the product “Torneo by Sofascore”

Torneo by Sofascore is a sports management app that allows users to create sports competitions, teams, and player profiles, as well as to enter Live or Final Result Only scores for lower-league competitions directly into the core Sofascore application.

It gives everyone the opportunity to see their favourite club featured in the main Sofascore app—right alongside world-famous competitions, teams, and players.

The potential of lower-league sports is enormous. Yet, there are still no adequate solutions on the market that allow users to follow these competitions. Torneo by Sofascore fills that gap by enabling users to showcase the leagues they care about within the core Sofascore app, which has more than 30 million active users. It is a powerful tool for promoting and popularising minor-league sports.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of our Torneo product (both web and mobile platforms), as well as to enhance and expand existing features.

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the design system as well as creating prototypes for research and testing. Depending on the project phase, you can expect close collaboration with the PO and User Experience Research teams, as well as all other teams in the office.

What you bring to the team 

• Advanced knowledge of Figma and other prototyping tools
• Product thinking
• Development of flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, interactions
• Taking ownership and responsibility for the product, feature, etc.
• Knowledge of web and mobile platforms (Google Material)
• Knowledge of UI animation
• Openness to learning, cooperation, exchange of experience and further development

What sets you apart

• Vector illustration & iconography (Adobe Illustrator)
• After Effects & other animation tools (Lottie-Bodymovin, Rive)
