About the Team

We’re making e-commerce accessible for tier-2+ markets who are new to e-commerce and have almost never transacted online before 🤩 Our Design team is as diverse as our users. Today, the team comprises of about 30 Designers – including Product, Visual, Design System, and Managers 🙌

As Product Designer, you’ll be part of a team solving unique problems, one that’s mostly untouched by other e-commerce players. But wait, there’s more! We’re individuals who are obsessed with our users. We empathise. We solve at grassroots levels. We’re breaking all the barriers -- be it language, literacy, culture, or technology💪

About the Role 

Passionate about Design? Find deep-diving into data exciting? Then you might be our next Product Designer🤩

As a Product Designer, you’ll define user goals, scenarios, benefits, and flows as well as own end-to-end experiences from a design perspective. You’ll work closely with Product, Business, Data and Engineering teams to create delightful and impactful experiences for our users.

In this role, you’ll break down complex tasks by understanding customer and business needs and translate them into easy to use, intuitive and delightful designs. Your end goal will be to find ways to improve processes to enhance experiences for customers. You'll be able to quickly communicate your decisions and solutions verbally as well as through sketches, user flows, wireframes, hi-fi mocks and functional prototypes.

What you will do

  • Build new experiences via mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, and other UX artefacts
  • Conduct quick rounds of usability testing to iterate with user feedback
  • Present your designs and communicate key decisions to stakeholders for review and incorporate feedback
  • Collaborate with the product, business and engineering team to build scalable and impactful solutions
  • Advocate for the user while understanding business requirements
  • Effectively use quantitative and qualitative data to drive design decisions and measure success

What you will need

  • 2+ years of design experience in a product company
  • Experience working in startups and fast-paced environments is an added advantage
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating interaction and visual design skills
  • Eye for details and a drive to learn from a fast-paced environment
  • Experience consolidating Research and stakeholder feedback and/or insights into your work
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management 
  • Ability and willingness to quickly produce UX concepts and test ideas
  • Proficiency with Figma and other design and prototyping tools
  • Proficiency in using Design System and evolving Design System with new use-cases
