General Details:

Fully remote position.
Working hours (40 hours/week any timezone)
Employment type: Contractor.
Compensation in USD.

Responsibilities:

Lead product design for an AI-powered content creation platform, translating business goals into shippable features.
Run stakeholder interviews/workshops, manage scope, and present product/design rationale to executive teams.
Define product requirements and documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria, feature specs).
Design AI-assisted workflows that balance automation with creator control, transparency, and trust.
Prototype rapidly in Figma, iterate fast, and partner daily with engineers to validate feasibility and tradeoffs.

Key Requirements:

7+ years in product design, including cross-functional roles (PM, Designer, Design Lead)
Experience with AI/LLM products: prompt engineering, RAG systems, context management, AI UX
Technical fluency: API design, data models, system architecture
Agile/Scrum experience and collaborative pair design/programming
Expert in Figma and rapid prototyping
Strong stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and task prioritization
Portfolio showcasing complex, technical product work
