Product Design Manager

At Bitrise, we’ve been expanding our product portfolio and went from a single product company to a full-fledged DevOps Platform in the last few years. As we’re continuing to scale our platform, we’re looking for an experienced Product Design Manager to scale our teams’ design maturity, processes, and structure to the next level, so we can deliver excellent UX and with that frictionless Developer Experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Designers at varying levels (team of 5 and growing)

• Drive career growth, feedback, and performance management through structured development plans.
• Maintain a healthy, inclusive, and collaborative team culture rooted in trust and shared purpose.
• Partner with recruitment to hire, onboard, and retain top design talent.
• Manage resourcing and prioritization to align design capacity with product goals.
• Partner with the Principal Designer to balance people development with design excellence.
• Advocate for design within the company and ensure it’s represented in cross-functional decisions.

• Strategic Alignment: Connect design team goals with company strategy and measure team impact.

Experience

• 4+ years of leadership experience with both managing & scaling design teams.
• Solid product design background with credibility to support and evaluate designers’ work.
• Proven track record in improving design maturity and processes within an organization.
• Experience in defining and implementing design processes that scale to deliver excellent UX and frictionless Developer Experience.
• Strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems into user-friendly design solutions.
