Newton School aims to bridge this massive gap through it’s personalised learning platform. We are building an online university and solving the deep problem of employability of graduates.

Role:
We have a small-but-mighty team of talented designers, ranging from expertise in UX to IA to Design Systems. We are looking out for a leader who can give direction and accelerate the design team’s efforts to create a stellar product.
Requirements :
- Design Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of talented product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
- Product Strategy: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define design strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Design Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept to delivery, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand values.
- User-Centered Design: Champion a user-first approach, conducting research, creating user personas, and ensuring that designs meet user needs and expectations.
- Innovation: Drive innovation by staying informed about design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to bring designs to life.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain design standards, perform design reviews, and ensure the highest quality in all design deliverables.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in product design
- Proven experience as a Product Design Lead or a similar leadership role, with an impressive design portfolio.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design work.
- Experience in ed-tech is a plus.
