AI overview

Lead a team in implementing data-driven product decisions while fostering collaboration, and managing analytics projects impacting product development and user problem-solving.

The role of Product Analytics Manager in our company is at the intersection of several disciplines: Product Analytics, Insights Analytics, Data Engineering and Data Science. Your team’s projects will cover a broad range of topics, from working with engineers to implement event tracking on our platforms, all the way to generating data insights and sometimes building predictive models, ultimately helping our Product organisation deliver great products, which solve meaningful user problems.

You and your team are part of a larger Product Analytics group, and will be working closely with Product Directors, Heads of Product, Data Engineers, Data Scientists and many other stakeholders to ensure we take data-driven product decisions at every step of the way, helping turn our Data and Product strategy into reality.

Equally important, you will foster an environment of active support, collaboration and growth within your team, enabling all your team members to achieve their potential and progress on their chosen career paths.

What your day will look like:

  • Orchestrate the scope, prioritization, and distribution of resources in your team across the many analytics projects.
  • Manage the delivery process and set expectations with stakeholders for transparent and aligned project outcomes and timelines.
  • Champion our 'always testing' culture, designing and developing experiments.
  • Lead and drive on data deep-dive initiatives, partner with the Product function to discover opportunities and help prioritise the Product roadmap.
  • Apply Data Science techniques for analytics research and work closely with other Data Scientists.

The ideal candidate:

  • Ideally 7+ years of experience in either Insights Analytics, Product Analytics or Data Science.
  • Relevant experience in managing a team of analysts or similar.
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to engage effectively on complex topics, and also present effectively to less technical audiences.
  • Experience managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Educated to degree level or higher, preferably in a numerical field and/or statistical background.

Technical requirements:

  • Proficient in SQL and hands-on coding experience with Python for Data Analytics
  • Experience with setting up and automating data pipelines, ETL processes, etc
  • Proficiency in using data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
