Having served over 50 million children worldwide, Age of Learning is a global leader in efforts to advance equity, access, and opportunity for all children.  Summary: Age of Learning is seeking an experienced Producer to support the development and delivery of engaging, high-quality learning games and educational products at Age of Learning. In this role, you will drive planning, execution, and cross-functional alignment across Agile teams—ensuring that teams are organized, unblocked, and focused on delivering meaningful, child-centered experiences. This position is strategic and managerial, overseeing all phases: development, pre-production, production, post-production, and release. You will act as a central coordinator and facilitator, helping teams navigate complexity, manage dependencies, and deliver on time without sacrificing quality, learning outcomes, or team health. This role ensures that teams can deliver high-quality, engaging learning experiences efficiently and consistently—by bringing clarity, structure, and alignment to complex, collaborative work. Our environment is fast paced, so flexibility is a must. The position requires successfully interfacing with a variety of internal and external design, creative, engineering and QA personnel, adjusting to production and team challenges that arise, and finding creative solutions that keep projects on track with a firm, but friendly “can-do” attitude. Responsibilities:

Planning & Execution

• Drive day-to-day execution across one or more cross-functional Agile teams.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Partner with discipline team managers to define scope, priorities, and milestones.
• Ensure work is well-defined, estimated, and tracked through completion.

Agile Facilitation

• Facilitate/run team ceremonies including standups, planning, reviews, retrospectives, grooming.
• Ensure teams are following Agile best practices and continuously improving.
• Help break down work into manageable increments and maintain a healthy backlog.
• Track team velocity and delivery predictability.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with engineering, game design, UX, art, animation, QA, curriculum.
• Manage dependencies, identify risks early, and drive resolution.
• Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on goals, scope, timelines, and expectations.
• Act as a communication hub across teams and disciplines.

Communication & Transparency

• Communicate project status, risks, and changes clearly to leadership.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, dashboards, and reporting.
• Ensure decisions, priorities, and trade-offs are visible and understood.
• Facilitate alignment when priorities or requirements shift.

Risk Management & Problem Solving

• Identify risks, blockers, and inefficiencies early and proactively address them.
• Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts and unblock teams.
• Help teams navigate trade-offs between scope, timeline, quality, and learning goals.
• Escalate issues appropriately while driving solutions at team level.

Quality & Delivery Support

• Partner with QA and team leads to ensure quality is built into the development process.
• Support release planning, validation, and delivery readiness.
• Help teams balance speed and quality in a sustainable way.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive process improvements across teams and workflows.
• Lead retrospectives and ensure actionable follow-ups.
• Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency, communication, and collaboration.
• Support a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in production, project management, or program management in games, software, or interactive products.
• Bilingual English and Spanish (verbal and written) in a business setting.
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and motivating cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
• A proven track record of shipping web & mobile software products.
• Knowledge of software production tools like Jira/Confluence, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
• A clear understanding of game project life cycles from start to finish.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in edtech, children’s products, learning and video games.
• Familiarity with live-service or content-driven products.
• Experience working with distributed or multidisciplinary teams.
• Passion for creating impactful learning experiences for children.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams while building software (games or apps) that are ideally consumer-facing and data-driven.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to shifting project needs.
• Knowledge and/or experience with other Agile frameworks.
• Agile or PMP Certification is a plus.
