Producer, CNBC Strategic Content & Partnerships

Develop and execute innovative editorial sponsorships and partnerships driving revenue while managing high visibility TV sponsorships and supporting digital initiatives.

CNBC Strategic Content & Partnerships is seeking a full-time Producer who thrives at the intersection of editorial, live production and revenue-driving innovation. As part of a team that builds and executes innovative editorial sponsorships and partnerships that enhance programming and drive revenue, this role is at the center of developing and delivering high visibility TV sponsorships across 14 hours of daily live programming, while also supporting digital and podcast initiatives as needed.  

 

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-driven producer who excels at project management, multitasking under pressure, collaborating across newsroom and commercial teams and can pivot instantly in a fast-moving environment. They are a strategic thinker and self-starter who proactively seeks opportunities to break new ground, thrives on non-stop change and has the ambition to develop creative solutions that drive meaningful monetization and enhance workflows. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

  • Manage the development, coordination, and execution of select TV sponsorships  
  • Establish new sponsorship opportunities and execution models to support the RFP process     
  • Oversee execution details in production management systems and Strategic Content dashboards in real-time  
  • Track daily sponsorship delivery across CNBC’s live programming  
  • Monitor for editorial and advertiser conflicts and resolve issues   
  • Review iNews rundowns and commercial logs to ensure accurate in-content and commercial elements 
  • Order graphics and lead creative updates for sponsorships pre and post launch  
  • Coordinate control room tests for sponsored graphics  
  • Create quarterly executive sponsorship summaries for newsroom leadership

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $85,000-$100,000

Qualifications:   

  • Minimum of 5 years production experience in a fast-paced digital or TV newsroom   
  • A passion for a coordination-focused position  
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills   
  • Proven ability to lead high-profile projects  
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with colleagues at all levels, including leadership 
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills   
  • Familiarity with CNBC content and the broader business news landscape  
  • Availability to work a hybrid schedule at CNBC Global Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, NJ 

 

Desired Characteristics:   

  • Experience producing live TV segments 
  • iNews proficiency   
  • Interest in audio and digital production 

   

You’ll Stand Out If You Have: 

  • Experience at a Business News network or site   
  • Experience producing editorial content for sponsors (ideally in news or sports)  
  • A strong understanding of financial markets
