Job Summary

As a Procurement Specialist you will by responsible for the end-to-end purchasing cycle for fabrics, trims, labels, and related materials across sampling and production. Working inside a fast, quality-driven textile environment, you’ll deal suppliers, secure competitive and reliable supply, and keep our ERP data clean so production flows on time and on cost.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Management
  • Run the full purchasing process: contracting, planning, ordering, and inbound follow-up for sampling and bulk.
  • Participate in negotiations to secure favorable commercial, quality, and service terms.
  • Source and evaluate new national and international suppliers; maintain an organized, up-to-date supplier database.
  • Qualify suppliers with a focus on quality, reliability, efficiency, sustainability, and cost.

Costing & Process Optimization
  • Build and maintain detailed product cost sheets covering all items and services for accurate forecasting.
  • Identify savings, lead-time reductions, and workflow improvements across the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and sustainability requirements.
Production & Delivery Coordination
  • Align closely with Planning to confirm and monitor delivery schedules; escalate risks early.
  • Coordinate timely material supply for production orders to secure smooth line starts.
  • Collaborate with Production/Logistics to streamline inbound, labeling, and kitting where needed.
  • Support ERP integration and data hygiene (purchasing data, supplier records, cost structures).

Preferred Qualifications (Must-have/Nice-to-have)

Must-Have
  • 3+ years of experience in a related role or field. 
  • Proven experience in fabric and trims procurement/sourcing within fashion/apparel.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of textiles, trims, labels, testing/quality requirements, and production flows.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented profile with hands-on cost analysis and budgeting experience.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (ideally PHC or similar) and advanced Excel/Sheets.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice-to-Have
  • Familiarity with sustainability standards and supplier compliance audits.
  • Knowledge of garment tech packs.
