Procurement Specialist (f/m/d)

Manage operational procurement of hardware while driving sustainability initiatives, ensuring quality data, and supporting sourcing activities as a junior buyer.

Your mission

The Procurement Specialist will manage operational procurement, primarily for hardware, while supporting sustainability initiatives across the supply chain. This role ensures smooth order execution, maintains strong data quality, and acts as a junior buyer supporting sourcing activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, track, and close purchase orders in SAP S4HANA for hardware components such as charging stations, substations, and related equipment

  • Process purchase requisitions ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and terms

  • Serve as the main contact for suppliers regarding order-related topics

  • Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, and quantity

  • Coordinate with demand planning and warehouse teams

  • Verify invoices and resolve mismatches against purchase orders and receipts

  • Prepare RFQs and support sourcing activities as a junior buyer

  • Track supplier performance KPIs

  • Build reports and dashboards to monitor procurement performance

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements

  • Support process improvements through automation and AI-driven tools

  • Collect sustainability data from suppliers and internal teams

  • Integrate sustainability criteria into RFQs and supplier selection

  • Assist with supplier assessments, audits, and risk checks

  • Contribute to sustainability reporting and ratings

Additional Focus

  • Improve procurement processes and data quality

  • Support cost control and delivery performance

  • Embed sustainability into daily procurement decisions

Your profile

  • 5+ years of experience in operational procurement, preferably hardware

  • Knowledge of SAP S4HANA or similar ERP systems

  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation

  • Analytical skills for reporting and data tracking

  • Good communication skills with suppliers and internal teams

  • English required; additional languages are a plus

  • Experience with sustainability and ESG topics
