Procurement Analyst

About the role

Crunchyroll’s Procurement team is seeking a Procurement Analyst who will be an integral addition to our team. As a Procurement Analyst, you will be the main point of contact in the Procure-to-Pay process for Crunchyroll’s global business units. The right person for this role will have previous experience in a Procurement function and working knowledge of various eProcurement systems. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Actively engage and interface with Business Units, Finance, Accounting, and Leadership to fully understand and analyze projected spend 
• Provide guidance and expertise to business stakeholders on financial compliance, cost reduction, sourcing requirements, and vendor relationships
• Act as liaison between Crunchyroll and vendors to manage metrics and hold vendors accountable to performance and delivery
• Educate and train internal customers about the procurement process, technology, and compliance requirements
• Review and prepare Purchase Orders to ensure coding is correct, valid justification is provided, commercial terms are accurate, and maintain schedules associated with contracts
• Monitor completion of goods/services and ensure receipts are posted in an accurate and timely manner (2 & 3-way matching)
• Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure proper and timely processing of Purchase Order and Non-Purchase Order Invoices
• Participate in the invoice reconciliation process. Work closely with Accounts Payable team to resolve any outstanding invoice reconciliation or mismatch.
• Assist in managing all key business users’ usage of the procurement system and resolve issues where necessary
• Collaborate with Business Units and team members to constantly strive for increased efficiencies and process improvements
• Support P2P system implementation and iteration of functions with development of test scripts, execution of testing, and documentation of project plans
• Onboard new vendors and maintain existing vendor master list
• Assist in training employees on procurement systems and processes
• Analyze spend data, track supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement
• Advise on procurement strategy using data analysis
• Identify and support improvements to end-to-end purchasing processes, including supplier onboarding and purchase order management
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives, focusing on cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supplier diversification
• Identify sourcing opportunities, conduct market research, and analyze supplier capabilities to inform strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop sourcing plans to meet their needs
• Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and conduct supplier assessments to ensure alignment with quality, cost, and delivery requirements

About You

• 1+ year of experience in procurement or supply chain (Facilities, HR, IT, Marketing, or Entertainment experience a plus)
• Basic understanding of Accounting and the Procure-to-Pay Process
• Experience working with NetSuite Financials
• Proficiency in Excel at an advanced skill level
• A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively, pivot often, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented mindset, values compliance, and a high sense of ownership of your work
