Procurement Senior Manager - India

Your Impact

As the Procurement Senior Manager you will refine and drive DISCO’s procurement vision and strategy. We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional who will take the lead on all things procurement. You will work cross-functionally to enable procurement from initial request through RFP, contract negotiation, and execution. This role reports to the VP of Finance but you will work closely with leaders across the whole organization.

What You'll Do

Procurement 

• Partner with business owners across the organization to develop a procurement strategy
• Manage procurement activities including identifying and selecting suppliers, contract negotiation, and procurement planning
• Develop and implement procurement and negotiation strategies to optimize cost savings and ensure the efficient supply of goods and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs, ensuring alignment with financial and operational goals
• Coordinate with Departments to get all contracts processed through Vendor Desk
• Coordinate with DISCO Legal, IT, and Finance Departments to ensure that all contracts have appropriate approvals before signature
• Act as the main point of contact for Vendors during the renewal process
• Track and proactively plan for upcoming renewals in partnership with the business owners across the organization
• Negotiate or facilitate the negotiation of major contracts
• Send weekly updates to the team on the progress of significant negotiations
• Act as the consistent voice of reason pushing for favorable pricing and terms for DISCO

Who You Are

• 5+ years leading a procurement function at a North American or UK based SaaS software business
• ‍Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills and exceptional negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Ability to problem solve and contribute to process improvement efforts
• Demonstrated experience running RFP processes and successful negotiations
• Ability and willingness to take the lead on high level strategy but also be in the weeds on the day to day administrative aspects of procurement
• Self starter with “Can-do” attitude and strong connection to team success
