Procurement Executive (Colombo)

Main Job Duties will be;

• Source, negotiate, and purchase goods and services required for business operations.
• Raise purchase orders accurately and promptly in the ERP system, review quotations, and manage procurement documentation
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely deliveries, cost-effective solutions, and quality standards - Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and alternative solutions for cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs and align with project timelines.
• Ensure that procurement processes comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Support in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of import and export procedures would be an added advantage
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
• Male candidates aged between 20-25 years are preferred.
• Valid mortor bike licence.
