Accountabilities

  • Production Leadership: Directs daily tasks, manages crew activities (cleaning, conditioning, bagging, loading), and ensures production targets are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Implements quality control, performs sampling, maintains standards for purity, germination, and treatments, and ensures compliance with regulations.
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Enforces safety protocols, conducts inspections, manages PPE, and promotes a safe working culture.
  • Technical Operations: Oversees machinery operation, maintenance, troubleshooting (mechanical, electrical), and implements new technologies.
  • Inventory & Records: Manages inhouse seed storage conditions, tracks inventory, and maintains meticulous records (batch numbers, treatments, germination) for full traceability.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: supply chain, quality control,engineering and management.

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

  • Seed Science: Understand seed viability, vigor, purity, and health; know effects of drying, cleaning, grading, and treatment.
  • Machinery Operation: Expertise with scalpers, air screen cleaners, gravity separators, indented cylinders, treaters, dryers, and packing machines.
  • Quality Control: Implement SOPs, conduct pre-operation checks, monitor processes, and ensure standards are met.
  • Graduated in bachelor degree in any related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in seed processing.
  • Supervision: Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate seasonal teams, delegate tasks, and manage performance.
  • Production Planning: Experience scheduling production runs based on seed type, quantity, and deadlines, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Problem-Solving: Skill in resolving unexpected issues like equipment malfunctions, pest/disease outbreaks, or supply chain hiccups.
  • Safety & Compliance: Implementing and enforcing strict safety protocols, hygiene standards, and regulatory compliance
  • Computer skilled such as Excel, Word, Power point, SAP .
  • English is written.
  • Positive thinking and problem solving with analytical skill.
  • Good communication skill.
  • Able work at Lopburi plant and able to travel per assignment.
