Job Title:  PROCESS ENGINEERING TECH

Summary/Objective: The Process Engineering Technician is a self-motivated contributor working primarily with internal customers to develop and deliver capable and scalable manufacturing processes. It is hands-on, collecting test and production data, executing process validation, equipment qualifications, and properly documenting work procedures, routings, system rates, PICS, and assembly methods. They will be responsible for day to day activities supporting engineering and manufacturing. The candidate will need to be able to multi-task and show strong organizational skills to support multiple projects in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  1. Work in a cross functional environment
  2. Troubleshoot processes to support Ops and Engineering
  3. Run, collect, and report on engineering experiments
  4. Troubleshoot tooling and machines
  5. Operates with minimum direction and uses a creative, collaborative, proactive, problem-solving approach on a daily basis
  6. Executes on assigned tasks designed to improve manufacturing processes.
  7. Supports production needs to meet Customer On-Time-Delivery requirements as needed
  8. Perform time studies and documentation updates
  9. Supports production on First Time Build; NR orders,… and do summary reports

Required Experience:

  1. 2+ years in engineering/manufacturing environment
  2. Exceptional organizational and tracking skills.
  3. Solid understanding of mechanics
  4. Strong ability to debug and troubleshoot
  5. Strong attention to detail, ability to work directly with engineers and manufacturing personnel.
  6. Team player and able to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external entities.
  7. Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback.
  8. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  9. Experience with Microsoft Applications (Excel, PPT, Word) for data collection, reports and documentation - preferred
  10. Demonstrated hands on experience in assembly process development and understanding of the equipment and materials that are used in the industry is a plus

Education:

  1. Technical degree/certifications or equivalent work experience

Training Required:

  1. On the job training as appropriate.

Languages:  Vietnamese and English preferred
