Process Engineer - Dry Anaerobic Digestion
TLDR
Develop process engineering for Anaerobic Digestion projects, focusing on heat and material balance, process flow diagrams, and supporting commissioning teams.
We're looking for a colleague who'll develop process engineering of a given tender / project, being accountable for related development activities. Tasks:
- Heat and Material Balance
- Development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) and Functional Design Specification (FDS) as a basis for the programming of the plant automation
- Dimensioning of static and rotating equipment and related technical evaluation and comparison of offers from different suppliers
- Development of documentation and participation to HAZOP sessions
- Support to commissioning team for process related items, process reviews during commissioning and before trial operation, preparation of operation manual
• Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering
• 4+ years' experience in Anaerobic Digestion in the energy, environmental technology, renewable energies or in similar industry (Wastewater Treatment, Biogas Upgrading, Solid Waste Treatment)
• Open minded personality with good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Competence, reliability and ability to make decisions within the frame defined by company processes
• Good knowledge of English, French is a strong plus
