Position Overview
StepStone is looking for a customer-centric, detail-oriented individual who will work with a team that manages fund operations and client relations for the StepStone Australia Funds. The person should have a solid understanding of investment operations and strong communication skills.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage daily communication with the fund’s Australia transfer agent and administrator to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Coordinate with the fund’s Responsible Entity (RE) to resolve operational matters efficiently and maintain a strong Administrator–RE relationship.
- Partner with the Australia Business Development team to understand priorities and support distribution initiatives.
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the EMEA Operations team to ensure accurate trade processing.
- Collaborate with the legal team to update documentation and ensure timely approval and implementation.
- Work with the due diligence team to complete information requests promptly and accurately.
- Develop and maintain quarterly KPIs for both external service providers and internal performance metrics.
- Maintain a project tracker for open items and ensure timely updates across teams.
- Prepare distribution updates and investor resolutions for international board materials.
- Ensure all data providers and pricing sources receive accurate and up‑to‑date information.
- Support leadership in managing service providers, distribution platforms, and other external vendors.
- Collaborate across teams to produce reporting materials, guides, and resources that enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide insights to refine and update marketing materials, and support proofreading of routine updates with strong attention to detail.
- Assist and contribute to projects and analyses for the private wealth and business development teams.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, management or business preferred
- 5+ years of related financial services experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel skills and familiar working with Adobe Acrobat
- Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence and adaptability
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Proven customer service skills
