We’re hiring a Technical Talent Scout who hunts exceptional engineers - not someone who waits for applicants to appear.

This isn’t traditional recruiting. You’ll be embedded with engineering leadership, deeply understand what we’re building, and run proactive search strategies to attract senior technical talent in a competitive market.

What you’ll own:

  • Proactive sourcing of top-tier engineers (senior/lead/principal) through targeted search, networking, communities, and creative outreach.

  • Pipeline-building before urgency: map markets, identify talent clusters, and build relationships long before a role becomes critical.

  • Deep role immersion: learn our systems, architecture, and technical challenges well enough to speak credibly with strong engineers.

  • Storytelling that wins: sell impact, complexity, and craft – not “open positions.”

  • End-to-end candidate journey: outreach → engagement → alignment → offer close, with a high bar for candidate experience.

  • Hiring partnership: drive calibration with hiring managers, keep processes fast, and raise signal quality in screening.

  • Market intelligence: compensation trends, competitor mapping, messaging experiments, channel ROI.

What we expect from you:

  • Proven track record sourcing/hiring senior engineers in competitive markets.

  • Hands-on experience sourcing through GitHub, Stack Overflow, technical blogs, newsletters, and open-source communities.

  • Strong understanding of engineering contexts (backend/platform/SRE/data/etc.). You don’t need to code, but you think in systems and ask the right questions.

  • Persuasion + closing skills: objection handling, negotiation support, and crisp positioning.

  • High ownership: you run work independently, follow through, and keep stakeholders aligned.

  • Experimental mindset: you test channels, messages, and tactics – and use data to double down on what works.

  • High bar, low ego: direct, respectful, and focused on outcomes.

  • Fluent in English.
