Key Responsibilities

- Drive complex, cross-platform technical initiatives, translating strategic objectives from architecture design into scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions.
- Provide strategic technical recommendations on build vs. buy decisions, A.I. tool integration, code refactoring, and managing technical debt.
- Deliver structured recommendations with clear trade-offs and risk considerations throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Report directly to the Head of Engineering, collaborating with a team of 20 engineers in Malaysia and an additional team in Singapore.
- Champion new initiatives internally and align Engineering, DevOps, Product, and Business teams towards unified goals.

Requirements

- 10-15+ years of experience in fintech, technology companies, product companies, or startups/scale-ups, with a focus on building enterprise-ready solutions or rolling out new features.
- Background in Platform Engineering, R&D, hands-on software architecture, or experience as a staff or principal engineer.
- Strong technical skills; current product stack is .NET Core & C#.
- Ideal for senior professionals who have remained highly technical or tech leads seeking to transition back into a purely technical role without compromising on salary.
- This is not a leadership position.
