Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to set technical vision, elevate engineering excellence, and drive the development of scalable, high-impact software systems across our portfolio. In alignment with The Re:Build Way, this role combines deep hands-on technical leadership with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and long-term thinking.
As a hands-on architect and trusted technical leader, you will guide critical design decisions, mentor engineers at multiple levels, and partner closely with product and business stakeholders in a candid, collaborative manner. You will bring clarity to complex problems, balancing speed and innovation with reliability, security, and maintainability to ensure solutions are built to endure.
You will thrive in this role if you are a strategic problem solver and clear communicator who enjoys tackling complex business and technical challenges in a fast-moving environment. You lead by example, raise the bar through principled engineering practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement—helping teams deliver meaningful outcomes while staying aligned with Re:Build’s mission to build the next generation of American manufacturing

What you bring to the Team
Compensation Expectations: Base salary range $130 to $260K, depending on candidate experience. Additionally, you will have an annual cash bonus and long term incentive.
