Principal Product Manager - Outbound Engagement

Help shape how an industry communicates by developing a multi-channel marketing platform that connects insight to action across operational messaging and customer experiences.
Building a serious multi-channel marketing and engagement engine
You will lead the development and scaling of Kraken’s outbound engagement platform across voice, email, SMS, and extensible future channels.
This includes enabling enterprise-grade capabilities for:
Campaign orchestration and workflow configuration
Audience targeting and segmentation
Eligibility and suppression management
Consent and communication governance
This platform must support modern outbound marketing programs while also handling operational messaging with reliability and scale. It should feel powerful for clients but controlled enough to maintain trust and regulatory integrity.
Creating the architecture for intelligent engagement
While the near-term focus is strong campaign and channel orchestration, you will design the system to support a broader shift toward:
Event-driven communication based on operational and lifecycle signals
Signal-led segmentation instead of static list-based targeting
Predictive intervention before issues escalate
Intelligent channel and timing optimization
Responsible AI-assisted content generation
Taking it from zero to scale
This is zero to one role with the expectation of scaling. You must be comfortable operating in ambiguity at the start and disciplined enough to simplify as complexity grows. You will help define:
The architectural and strategic direction
The integration model with internal and external systems
The roadmap that balances foundational capability with forward-looking innovation
Raising the bar for customer communication in energy
Energy providers often struggle with fragmented systems and reactive outreach.We see the opportunity to make communication:

Delightful, even in regulated environments
5 to 10+ years of product management experience in a scaling SaaS or enterprise software environment
Direct experience building or scaling marketing technology, campaign orchestration systems, or outbound engagement platforms
Systems thinking across workflows, integrations, constraints, and execution layers
Experience integrating complex systems and APIs
Experience collaborating with data and analytics teams, ideally including exposure to ML-driven initiatives
Energy, telecom, fintech, or similar domain experience
Experience with operational event systems such as outage or service-triggered communications
Exposure to predictive segmentation or AI-driven engagement systems
Global product experience
