Get to know Okta

Okta is The World’s Identity Company. We free everyone to safely use any technology, anywhere, on any device or app. Our flexible and neutral products, Okta Platform and Auth0 Platform, provide secure access, authentication, and automation, placing identity at the core of business security and growth.

At Okta, we celebrate a variety of perspectives and experiences. We are not looking for someone who checks every single box - we’re looking for lifelong learners and people who can make us better with their unique experiences.

Join our team! We’re building a world where Identity belongs to you.

At Okta, we believe that Authorization is currently where Authentication was 15 years ago. We want to help the industry solve authorization in the same way we helped in solving authentication.

We are building Auth0 Fine Grained Authorization (FGA), an authorization service for developers that we believe is going to reshape the industry. Auth0 FGA is built on top of OpenFGA, an open source product owned by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation and maintained primarily by Okta.

Auth0 FGA is a new product in a new market and it’s growing at a very fast pace. We are looking for someone who can thrive in such an environment, and can lead the charge in planning, design, and even prototype the best solutions to satisfy our customers' needs.

This role will work closely with architecture, engineering, the OpenFGA community, and product leadership to define scope and priority. Will write requirements and specifications dictating behavior, lifecycle, API endpoints and relevant design constraints, and help the development team while executing it.

Development experience is required. The highly technical nature of the problem space and the audience makes this role instrumental in driving Auth0 FGA forward.
