Our mission is clear: Make journey management the most powerful business tool in the world.
If you’re looking for a place where your work shapes the future of how companies operate, join us. Let’s build it together.
At TheyDo, we’re building the future of journey management, helping companies connect every part of their business around the customer journey. AI at TheyDo isn’t about automation, it’s about amplifying human decision-making by uncovering patterns teams can’t see and surfacing interventions they’d never consider. We've proven this works with early products like JourneyAI and Ask TheyDo.
We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead and scale our AI product area, turning early breakthroughs like JourneyAI & Ask TheyDo into loved products that transform how enterprises manage their journeys.
Owning the AI roadmap, increasing adoption of AI-powered journeys, and turning ambiguous, early-stage bets into reliable, high-value experiences. Working closely with the broader Engineering team, Data leaders and GTM teams, you’ll bring rigour and structure to a fast-moving area of innovation, connecting product vision, research, delivery and business impact. You’ll also help scale AI knowledge across the organisation, influencing how TheyDo builds and thinks about intelligence in everything we ship.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the “sweet spot”, TheyDo has real traction, amazing logos, and strong growth, yet we’re still early enough for you to have outsized impact and influence on what’s next.
Define and deliver the AI product capabilities - Identify and validate the AI capabilities that will drive meaningful adoption across our enterprise customer base. Lead discovery and research to turn customer problems into clear, evidence-based product outcomes with measurable outcomes.
Scale prototypes into production-grade products - Take promising proofs of concept and transform them into robust, reliable capabilities. Own the full journey from validation through launch, establishing clear success metrics and data hygiene practices.
Build the unified intelligence layer - Create a coherent AI experience across AskTheyDo, JourneyAI, and future capabilities. Define how AI surfaces insights, guides decisions, and integrates naturally into customer workflows without feeling bolted on.
Drive adoption and iterate based on evidence - Own AI feature adoption metrics, analyze usage patterns, identify friction points, and rapidly iterate. Work backward from customer value to prioritize what ships next.
Partner across Engineering, Data, and GTM - You'll work closely with our Engineering leadership and Data team to ensure technical feasibility and scalability. Collaborate with GTM to understand customer needs, validate assumptions, and ensure successful rollout. Help scale AI knowledge across the organization, influencing how TheyDo builds and thinks about AI.
Led AI capabilities at scale - You've defined and executed an AI product roadmap in a B2B SaaS environment, driving features from concept to widespread enterprise adoption.
Shipped modern AI products that customers love - Proven track record building generative, LLM-based, or agent-driven products in production. You've navigated the challenges of non-deterministic outputs, latency, cost management, and user trust.
Drive decisions with data, not opinions - Strong analytics orientation. You instrument everything, analyze usage religiously, and let evidence shape your roadmap. You know how to balance quantitative signals with qualitative customer insights.
Thrive in ambiguity and move fast - Startup or scale-up experience where you created structure and clarity rather than waiting for it. Comfortable working in 0-to-1 and 1-to-10 stages simultaneously.
Influence without authority - You've been the glue between engineering, data science, design, and go-to-market teams. You build alignment through insight, not hierarchy, and know how to get complex initiatives shipped in matrixed organizations.
-You've taken an LLM or AI product from early prototype to a production feature used by thousands of enterprise users, with measurable impact on customer outcomes and business metrics.
You're equally comfortable shaping long-term vision and managing implementation details. You know when to explore and when to execute, and you bring others along with clarity and conviction.
You've owned the full stack: customer research, opportunity sizing, technical tradeoffs, launch strategy, adoption tracking, and continuous iteration based on real usage.
We don’t expect you to have done everything on this list, but you should have deep experience in several of these areas and strong conviction about how to learn the rest.
TheyDo isn't a place for passengers. The pace is fast, the bar is high, and clarity is often something you'll have to create, not wait for.
You won't get a pre-baked roadmap handed to you each quarter. You won't have a team waiting for detailed instructions. If you need clear OKRs defined for you or feel uncomfortable shipping fast and iterating based on real usage, this isn't the role.
You'll bring your own structure, your own thinking, and your own drive to push ideas forward, in good alignment with the leadership team.
But if you thrive on ownership, hard problems, and building the next wave of AI-driven enterprise software, if you want your work to define how enterprise companies manage their customer journeys, you'll find your best work here.
