Role Overview:

Coupang seeks a highly qualified and energetic Principal HRBP to oversee certain Corporate teams in Taipei and ensure they’re aligned with company’s business goals. Ideal candidates should have solid experience with HR practices and employee management. You will communicate with senior business leaders on a daily basis to express new ideas and suggest solutions, develop critical people strategies, and enhance our company culture. This person will be a natural people partner, and will report to Director HRBP.

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement business people strategies; support business goals and initiatives by ensuring relevant people capabilities and organizational effectiveness based on business understanding.
  • Provide coaching, direction and counsel to people managers and business leaders as well as all levels of employees to proactively anticipate, prevent and resolve people issues.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the People team, developing solutions as needed.
  • Deep dive into data and visualize, to provide insightful information to related stakeholders and propose some suggestions.
  • Minimizes legal risks of the company by establishing measures to comply with labor laws and company regulations and resolving issues.
  • Resolve employee relations issues and address grievances, liaising directly with all related parties.Conduct regular meetings with respective business units

 

Essential Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of HRBP experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
