The Principal HR Business Partner (HRBP) will oversee all aspects of Human Resources management within the Finance and Legal & Public Policy organizations. This role is responsible for driving business partnerships and strategy, organizational design, change management, talent initiatives, and employee relations. As a senior HR leader, you will partner with and influence executive leadership teams, operating in a global HRBP capacity to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. The ideal candidate is highly self-directed, agile, and driven, with a proven ability to independently implement large-scale programs and resolve complex issues in dynamic environments. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Strategic Talent Partnership: Partner with VP-level leaders to manage end-to-end talent strategy, aligning global talent initiatives with business priorities to drive measurable results. 
  • Business-Aligned Talent Strategy: Translate business strategy into actionable talent plans, ensuring clarity and alignment across the organization. 
  • Program Delivery: Define and drive the delivery of talent processes and programs globally, including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development. 
  • Organizational Design & Change Management: Lead organizational design efforts and support change management as the company scales and evolves. 
  • Executive Coaching & Leadership Development: Improve manager and leadership capabilities through coaching and implementation of targeted development programs. 
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use data and analytics to measure success, identify trends, and develop proactive actions that support business objectives. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivate deep relationships with HRBPs and business partners across functional areas to solve complex business problems and execute org-wide talent initiatives. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, adapting style and approach to maximize impact and understanding. 
  • Short- and Long-Term Solutions: Deliver immediate solutions to business challenges while addressing underlying causes for sustainable improvement. 
  • Culture & Compliance: Champion company values and safeguard compliance standards in all HR practices. 

Basic Qualifications 

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including direct client support and management coaching of senior executives. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR functional areas, especially strategy, organizational development, analytics, and change management. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrate credibility and integrity in all interactions. 
  • Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end independently, driving initiatives from conception through execution and measurement. 
  • Skilled in making data-driven decisions, leveraging analytics and insights to inform strategy and solve business challenges. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive influence, earning trust quickly across diverse groups. 
  • Critical thinker with a track record of developing innovative solutions and navigating ambiguity across multiple business lines.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.    

The pay range for this role is $165,000 to $268,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
