Principal, Finance Business Partner (Retail)

Role Overview:

This role will focus on improving key financial metrics, devising measures to fundamentally resolve issues identified through high-level data analysis and formulating long-term solutions for automation in order to support financial decision-making by the management of Coupang.

What You Will Do:

• Identify key input/output metrics impacting Retail P&L
• Establishes ambitious goals for the team and oneself, implementing concrete plans to achieve them, even in ambiguous or complex situation
• Track the metrics and analyze their trends & results to provide business/financial visibilities to stakeholders
• Perform root cause analysis by retrieving the right data and diving deep for actionable insights
• Facilitate daily communication with senior leaders, exerting a notable influence on both internal and external team members.
• Provide constant feedback to stakeholders, raise a flag, and recommend corrective measures to deliver WOW results

Basic Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in business partnering, financial planning and analysis in a fast-paced retail and/or technology-oriented organization (eCommerce preferred)
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, strong business sense, and willingness to work within a fast-paced, ambiguous and growing environment
• Ability to gather, analyze, and organize large amounts of data and provide insight and recommendation to guide and influence
• Strong Excel skills
• SQL skills
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA
• Strong SQL and Power BI skills
• Fluent in Mandarin
