Xodus Group is an international, multi-disciplinary energy consultancy, founded on an integrated approach to engineering challenges. Our expert environmental, engineering and advisory teams work on projects supporting clients across the globe using clever thinking to overcome challenges, promote sustainability, minimise environmental impact and maximise return on investment.
We work across the energy sector addressing the global mix of energy infrastructure projects and innovative technology opportunities. Xodus has been established for 20 years, with more than 680 experts working across the globe. We support the industry from early project development, to advising on sustainable supply chains, to offering a one-stop-shop for project and technology development activities. Our environmental consultants, engineers, analysts and advisors work together to find the optimal solutions for our clients, considering the technical, logistical, commercial, political, regulatory and environmental factors.
The Environment division is key to Xodus’ integrated ethos and works across a range of marine industries creating new and managing existing, responsible, and sustainable energy projects to deliver the energy transition and meet the worlds net zero goals.
We want everyone at Xodus to feel they truly belong and can bring their perspectives and ideas to work. Our focus on creating and sustaining an inclusive culture is to ensure everyone feels valued and empowered to be their best.
Xodus continues to grow its support offering to the energy industry and we have a need for a Senior/Principal Environmental Consultant with experience of preparing and reviewing oil and gas permitting in the UKCS. Working as a key senior member of our Permits & Licensing team, you will provide support to a diverse portfolio of oil and gas projects from project concept through to decommissioning.
Depending on your experience, you will act as a project manager and/or project sponsor across a range of operators, taking the lead client contact role on a day-to-day basis and guiding consultants within the team to deliver challenging projects on time and within budget. At times, there may also be a business need for you to undertake secondments with our oil and gas clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for report writing and client liaison, helping to drive high-quality delivery, with support from other senior consultants. The Environment Division at Xodus provides scientific, consenting, advisory and strategic consultancy, often in collaboration with our other discipline-led divisions in Xodus. As a truly integrated consultancy, we bring together a range of technical specialists with the right skills to work with and solve our clients’ challenges. We embed trust, fairness, and equality at the core of our organisation, to allow our people to thrive. Ultimately, we bring enthusiastic, motivated people together who all understand how energy solutions can be technically, economically, ethically, and environmentally sustainable.
