We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer, Test Development Engineering - Module to join our team in Batu Kawan, Malaysia. In this pivotal role, you will lead and drive innovation in module-level test development, ensuring the highest quality standards for our cutting-edge products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Spearhead the development and implementation of advanced test strategies for complex module-level testing.
  • Lead a team of test development engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize test processes and improve product quality.
  • Design and develop sophisticated test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.
  • Analyze test results and provide data-driven insights to improve product performance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in test development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test methodologies and tools.
  • Represent the test development team in high-level technical discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for test engineering within the organization.

REQUIRED: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in test development engineering, with a focus on module-level testing
  • +7 years of semiconductor test, device, FA or related field experience
  • Advanced knowledge of test development methodologies and best practices
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python and C++
  • Understanding basic behavior of transistor or semiconductor memory
  • Proven experience with test automation frameworks and tools
  • In-depth understanding of the semiconductor or electronics industry
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in test development
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Relevant certifications in test engineering (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level) are preferred
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Development of Memory and System test program to stress, screen dies
  • Data analysis to debug test program and analyze correlation between process weak spot and test results

PREFERRED:

  • Skill to code in either of C / C++ / C# / Pychon /Assembly language
  • NAND flash memory testing experience
  • Knowledge of NAND flash device

SKILLS:

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and guiding junior engineers
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
