CloudShare is seeking a forward-thinking Data Scientist with expertise in computer vision and large language models (LLMs) to lead innovation in AI-driven solutions. In this role, you’ll focus on research, prototyping, and deploying advanced AI/ML applications that solve real-world problems and create new opportunities for our products. You will work closely with product, engineering, and customer teams to bring cutting-edge ideas from concept to production, shaping the future of AI at CloudShare.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of applied research, innovation, and product impact, and who enjoys exploring emerging technologies to deliver transformative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• AI Model Development – Design, build, and deploy Computer Vision and LLM solutions in production, including enhancing CloudShare’s Visual AI Checkpoint algorithm.

• Innovation & R&D – Research emerging AI technologies, prototype new concepts, and transition successful ideas into scalable solutions.
• Analytics & Insights – Deliver actionable intelligence by developing advanced models and dashboards that support internal teams and customers.
• Technology Leadership – Serve as the company’s AI/ML subject matter expert, advising leadership on strategy, industry trends, and adoption of next-generation tools.

Requirements:

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading AI/ML initiatives as a sole or lead data scientist.
• Strong background in Computer Vision ,using modern CV frameworks (OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow) and deployment in cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, production integration).
• Proficiency in Python and core AI/ML libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Proven ability to take AI solutions from prototype to production.
• Proven track record of translating applied AI research and proof-of-concept ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Innovative mindset with experience exploring emerging technologies and delivering real-world impact.
