Principal Consultant (Sr. Product Owner)

We are looking for a seasoned Product Owner with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in owning and delivering enterprise-grade products. The ideal candidate will drive product strategy, manage complex backlogs, and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the product vision, roadmap, and end-to-end backlog management
Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements
Convert business requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Act as a single point of contact for business and delivery teams
Make priority and scope decisions to maximize business value
Support UAT execution and obtain business sign-off
Ensure alignment with business objectives, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Track and report on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Product Owner
Strong expertise in Agile / Scrum frameworks
Hands-on experience in backlog management, prioritization, and refinement
Excellent skills in user story writing and defining acceptance criteria
Strong experience with JIRA / Azure DevOps or similar tools
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong business analysis and requirement elicitation experience
Good understanding of SDLC and enterprise-scale delivery
Experience working with distributed and offshore teams

Good to Have:

Domain experience in Banking / Financial Services
Experience working in large transformation programs
SAFe or CSPO certification
