About The Team

We are seeking a Principal Client Partner – National Vertical Specialist to serve a dual and critical role on our Large Customer Sales team: as an individual contributor hunting and closing new enterprise business within focused verticals, and as a strategic overlay partner to our national direct sales teams — helping them identify, develop, and close in-app advertising opportunities across Entertainment & Media, Technology, and Retail & QSR.

This role sits at the intersection of deep vertical expertise, enterprise brand sales, and national sales enablement. You will carry your own book of business while acting as the go-to subject matter expert for sellers nationwide, supporting them with vertical-specific pitch strategy, client engagement, and deal execution. Your mission is to understand the core business challenges facing brands in your verticals, design and sell innovative in-app advertising solutions that leverage Life360's unique first-party visitation data, and enable your colleagues across the country to do the same.

You will architect contextually relevant ad experiences and in-app sponsorships that reach families at the moments that matter most — driving revenue growth and establishing Life360 as an essential partner for brands seeking to connect digital engagement with real-world behavior.

What You'll Do

As an Individual Contributor:

  • Own the Full Sales Cycle: Proactively hunt for new business with enterprise brands across Entertainment & Media, Technology, and Retail & QSR; manage the complete sales pipeline and close deals with marketing decision-makers at leading companies.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute a strategic plan to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets across your own book of business.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strong, influential relationships with key stakeholders at enterprise brands, including CMOs, VPs of Marketing, and media/performance marketing leaders.
  • Serve as a Trusted Consultant: Deliver compelling, insight-led sales presentations that articulate how Life360's first-party location data and in-app advertising experiences solve real business challenges — from driving foot traffic to understanding family purchase behavior.
  • Master of Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with a focus on creating long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships that deliver measurable ROI.

As a National Overlay Partner:

  • Enable In-App Revenue Nationally: Partner with direct sales teams across the country to identify in-app advertising opportunities within their existing client relationships and active pipelines, providing strategic guidance and hands-on support to drive incremental vertical revenue.
  • Be the Vertical & In-App Expert: Serve as the subject matter expert on Life360's in-app advertising solutions, sponsorship packages, and contextual ad experiences within Entertainment & Media, Technology, and Retail & QSR — equipping sellers nationwide with the knowledge, materials, and confidence to bring these opportunities forward.
  • Support Joint Client Engagement: Join sellers in client meetings and presentations when in-app or vertical-specific solutions are central to the pitch, helping translate Life360's capabilities into compelling business value.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Ad Operations, Marketing, Product, and Measurement teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery across both direct and overlay-sourced business.

Across Both Functions:

    • Be the Voice of the Customer: Represent client needs and vertical market feedback internally to help shape product, packaging, and go-to-market strategy.
    • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, the competitive landscape, location-based advertising innovation, and the evolving needs of brands in your verticals.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in a digital media sales role, with demonstrated success in both hunting new enterprise business and working collaboratively within or alongside broader sales organizations.
  • Deep expertise and an established network within Entertainment & Media, Technology, and/or Retail & QSR verticals at the national level.
  • Experience in an overlay, specialist, or solutions sales capacity — supporting national or direct sales teams on complex or category-specific deals — is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience and success selling directly to brands and marketing decision-makers.
  • A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals and a strong history of personal and professional achievement.
  • An established network of brand contacts at enterprise companies, particularly among marketing and media leaders across your focus verticals.
  • Expertise in the digital advertising ecosystem, including mobile advertising, first-party data solutions, location-based marketing, and measurement/attribution.
  • Experience selling contextual advertising, in-app sponsorships, or custom branded experiences.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data capabilities into clear business value — both for external clients and internal sales partners.
  • Strong collaborative instincts and the ability to influence and enable peers without direct authority.

The US-based salary range for this position is $ 118,000 - $ 195,000 plus a sales target bonus. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary - therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package will also include quarterly bonuses based on target achievement, equity and a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
