For more information, visit arcadia.io   Why This Role is Important to Arcadia    The Principal Analyst, Customer Insights is a senior individual contributor responsible for shaping analytic strategy and delivering high-impact insights across complex, enterprise-level customer engagements. This role operates as the highest-level analytic authority within Customer Insights, driving methodological rigor, influencing business strategy, and ensuring analytics directly support contractual commitments and measurable performance outcomes.    This individual will lead the most complex analytic initiatives, serve as a strategic partner to executive stakeholders, and elevate analytic standards across the function. Given the scale, visibility, and complexity of the work, this role requires deep healthcare domain expertise, advanced technical capability, strong executive presence, and the ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments.    What Success Looks Like In 3 months Develop deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, reporting commitments, and performance objectives  Establish credibility as a strategic analytic partner to senior leaders  Provide guidance on complex analytic workstreams and influence prioritization decisions  In 6 months Drive measurable improvements in analytic quality, scalability, and efficiency  Lead cross-functional initiatives requiring advanced methodological expertise  Serve as trusted advisor on medical economics and performance strategy  In 12 months What You'll Be Doing
  • Define and lead analytic strategy across large-scale, high-visibility customer engagements 
  • Architect advanced analytic frameworks supporting medical economics, performance measurement, population health, and value-based care initiatives 
  • Serve as the senior-most analytic escalation point for complex methodological or data integrity questions 
  • Translate contractual requirements and strategic objectives into measurable analytic roadmaps 
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Actuarial, Data Science, Finance, and Customer Success 
  • Ensure technical excellence and rigor in all analytic deliverables; establish quality standards and governance practices 
  • Identify scalable opportunities for automation, reusable intellectual property, and analytic innovation 
  • Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior and executive-level stakeholders 
  • Mentor and develop Lead, Senior, and Data Analysts, elevating analytic capability across the team 
  • Influence product and roadmap decisions through data-driven thought leadership 
  • What You'll Bring
  • 8–10+ years of healthcare analytics experience, with strong payer experience preferred 
  • Deep expertise in medical economics, claims data analysis, quality performance measurement, and value-based care 
  • Advanced SQL proficiency, including optimization of complex queries in large data environments 
  • Experience designing analytic methodologies and scalable frameworks 
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior or executive stakeholders 
  • Proven experience leading large, complex analytic initiatives with significant business impact
  • Strong data storytelling and executive-level communication skills 
  • Experience mentoring and elevating senior analytic talent

  • Experience supporting large, enterprise healthcare contracts with performance guarantees 
  • Experience working within AWS or large-scale cloud data environments 
  • Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics 
  • Experience integrating predictive modeling or advanced statistical techniques into operational analytics

  • Experience using AI tools to enhance your coding and workflows as they relate to analytics
