Principal AI Technical Product Manager

New York , United States

AI overview

Define and drive AI product strategy at Atria by connecting clinical and AI/Data platform teams to enhance member and clinician experiences through innovative AI solutions.

About Atria

Atria is a membership-based preventive health care practice delivering cutting-edge primary and specialty care from the comfort of your home, at our practices in Palm Beach and New York, or wherever you are in the world.

We bring together a multidisciplinary team of renowned, in-house physicians to provide proactive, preventive, and precision-based care for Atria members and their families. We aim to optimize the lifespan and healthspan of all our members through meticulous screening and tailored interventions to prevent, reverse, or manage all major chronic diseases.

Each member’s care is led by a dedicated Chief Medical Officer who collaborates on your behalf with specialists in cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, gynecology, endocrinology, performance and movement, and more. Our exceptional clinicians also work closely with the 60+ members of the Atria Academy of Science & Medicine, top experts in their respective fields who are available for rapid consults, support, and referrals.

Role Overview

Atria Health is seeking a Principal AI Technical Product Manager to define and drive AI product strategy across the organization. This role serves as the bridge between domain product teams (Clinical Experience, Member Experience, Care Delivery) and the AI/Data platform team, ensuring that AI platform capabilities can deliver high-value, member- and clinician-facing outcomes.

In collaboration with Product Delivery Teams, you will translate workflows, inputs, and expected outputs into AI platform workstreams. You will work with the AI Engineering team to develop models, tools, and infrastructure that enable the desired outcomes, while Product Engineering teams focus on implementing features in the platform. This role ensures AI initiatives are aligned with both technical feasibility and strategic product goals.

This is a senior individual contributor role with high strategic visibility, not a people management role.

Here are some examples of the types of projects this role would own:

  • Building prototypes of AI-powered experiences using tools such as Python notebooks, API integrations, and prompt engineering to validate concepts before full engineering implementation.
  • Building scrappy proofs-of-concept to explore feasibility and inform product direction.
  • Engaging with LLMs, embeddings, vector search, and generative AI workflows to guide solution design.
  • Building and running small-scale experiments with real data to validate models or approaches.
  • Partnering with the Clinical PM to create the platform capabilities that power clinical workflows that use AI
  • Improving the AI layer and models to improve the outputs of AI based workflows

  • Collaborate with Product Engineering teams to ensure features are built with AI capabilities in mind.
  • Partner with AI Engineering to develop models, algorithms, and platform capabilities to support both current and upcoming product initiatives.
  • Serve as the main conduit between domain PMs and the AI/Data platform team, ensuring priorities are actionable and aligned.

  • Define AI platform requirements to support multiple product initiatives
  • Work with the VP of Data + AI and engineering leads to ensure infrastructure and model development are prioritized appropriately.

Opportunity Identification & Roadmapping

  • Proactively identify new AI use cases from member, clinician, and operational perspectives.
  • Build a roadmap of AI initiatives that balance quick wins with strategic, scalable solutions.

Ethics, Compliance & Safety
