Principal Agentic iPaaS Architect

Location: 🇬🇷 Athens OR Thessaloniki, Greece hybrid working once per week in the office.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-impact Principal Architect to lead the technical evolution of XTM Connect. This isn't just a maintenance role; you will be responsible for transforming our integration tooling into an enterprise-grade, composable agentic platform.

You will design the framework that allows AI agents to orchestrate translation workflows, determine how our suite of products composes together, and define how events flow across our global portfolio. This is a hands-on role for a visionary engineer who wants to lead a talented team building the foundation for XTM’s next chapter in AI-driven language technology.

What You’ll Own

As the technical authority for our iPaaS strategy, your remit covers three critical pillars:

1. Composable Agentic Architecture

• Orchestration: Design the framework for AI-driven workflows, evaluating and implementing tools like LangChain, LangGraph, or Temporal.
• Atomic APIs: Define the granular APIs (analyze, translate, route, quality check) that agents invoke.
• Event-Driven Flow: Architect seamless communication across XTM Cloud, Connect, and Transifex.
• No-Code Vision: Enable end-to-end translation workflows via no-code orchestration and create bespoke tool interfaces for LLMs.

2. Enterprise iPaaS Foundation

• Infrastructure: Design robust observability (monitoring, alerting, tracing) and ensure strict SLA compliance.
• Deployment: Architect multi-tenant and private cloud models tailored for enterprise needs.
• Standards: Establish connector standards and shared libraries to be used across all engineering teams.
• Governance: Set the bar for engineering excellence, including CI/CD pipelines and Definition of Ready/Done.

3. Portfolio Integration

• Cross-Product Synergy: Define how XTM Cloud, Transifex, Rigi, and VCC expose tools and consume orchestration.
• Alignment: Act as the "glue" between product teams, ensuring everyone is aligned around a unified, shared architecture.

What Success Looks Like

• AI agents successfully orchestrate complex, multi-step workflows across our product suite.
• Events flow with 100% reliability between XTM Cloud, Connect, and Transifex.
• Enable enterprise-grade tenant isolation that satisfies zero-trust requirements.
• No-code users are empowered to configure complex workflows without requiring engineering intervention.

Requirements

This is a senior-level, high-influence role. We need a "doer" who can think at a systems level but isn't afraid to dive into the codebase.

Required Experience:

• 10+ years in software architecture with a focus on high-scale systems.
• 2+ years in a team leadership or similar people management role.
• Deep iPaaS Expertise: Proven track record with integration platforms or API-first products.
• AI Frameworks: Hands-on experience with agentic AI (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar).
• Distributed Systems: Strong background in event-driven architecture and workflow orchestration (Temporal, Camunda, or Airflow).
• SaaS Mastery: Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS systems and high-standard API design.

Preferred Qualities:

• Experience in enterprise software for regulated industries.
• A history of driving platform standards across multiple autonomous teams.
• Architectural experience with no-code/low-code platforms.
