About the role:

This is a full-time role that splits time across:

• 3 days/week in direct patient care
• 2 days/week partnering with teams across Tia’s innovation organization to advance clinical strategy, care model design, and the tools that support care delivery

As a Physician (MD/DO) at Tia, you’ll provide affirming, evidence-based primary care for women across preventive care, acute concerns, and chronic disease management. Board certification/board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is preferred (other relevant specialties considered).

This role is built for physicians who want both clinical practice and meaningful influence — teaching within an interdisciplinary team, collaborating on care journeys, and contributing to the product/technology lifecycle of the tools you use every day.

What you’ll do

Clinical care (3 days/week)

• Deliver high-quality primary care for women across prevention, acute care, and chronic condition management.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, longitudinal care. 

Clinical strategy + innovation (2 days/week)

• Provide clinical input and definition for care journeys and protocols
• Research and translate evolving guidelines and innovations into our core care model
• Partner with product and engineering teams to shape clinical decision support tools
• Support and amplify Tia’s women’s health research and learning agenda
• Help define and run sessions with Tia’s Clinical Advisory Council
• Collaborate with specialist teams within health system partnerships to advance Tia’s “deepened primary care” model

• You are comfortable managing a variety of clinical cases that may come your way - and approach clinical care with curiosity, warmth and collaboration.
• You’re facile with technology and interested in the process of developing new technology to support high quality clinical care. 
• You’re data driven and consistently incorporate new and evolving research into your day-to-day practice
• You are excited about teaching and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team - including nurse practitioners, therapists, acupuncture and acupuncture providers.
• You are a tolerant and inclusive thinker. 

Skills and assets you’ll bring to Tia: 

• You’re a board certified or board eligible Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required), in the state of California with an unrestricted license, able to provide primary care and support of all aspects of women’s health with compassion and empathy 
• You’re adept at providing primary care services to women including: preventative care, hypertension management, diabetes management, urgent care concerns (coughs, sore throat, abdominal pain, etc), basic dermatological condition management, STD screens, UTI & vaginal infections consults, pelvic pain, vaginal bleeding, birth control counseling, etc and are motivated to deliver this care and collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure every Tia patient receives excellent care.
• You’re highly tech savvy
• You’re authorized to work in the US
• You’re willing and eligible to be credentialed with our academic partners
• You’re able to serve as a collaborating physician for our CA nurse practitioners if needed

• Experience or formal training weaving integrative medicine practices into your care plan development. 

Tia requires that Physicians complete credentialing with specified payors and that you authorize Tia to complete this credentialing through our preferred vendors.

• Salary range: $250,000–$300,000 (full time)
