We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Beef Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Clonee, Co. Meath.

In this role, you'll report to the Meat Division Ireland Supply Chain Manager and take charge of coordinating the entire primary beef supply chain activities across our Kepak Meat Division Ireland beef sites. Your efforts will directly contribute to meeting our customer service goals.

You'll play a key role in managing inventory effectively, planning demand, scheduling production, and fulfilling order. All essential aspects that help us achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of Primary Beef Demand Plan - Accountable for managing the primary beef demand plan, overseeing availability, and confirming orders for both internal and external product requests.
  • Inventory Management & Optimisation - Responsible for inventory management and monitoring in conjunction with site operations and stock control teams. Highlight variances and ensure stock rotation aligns with central inventory plans and targets.
  • Demand Planning & Forecasting - Lead key account demand planning and order fulfilment in line with service level agreements
  • Production Planning - Optimise primary planning for beef production sites, facilitate daily planning routines and monitor plan attainment across all sites.
  • Order Confirmations & Availabilities - Accountable for confirming all beef orders and requests for product (internal and external) and advising availability in accordance with agreed customer demand plans.
  • Variance Reporting - Monitor variances to the production plan and proactively identify surpluses or shortfalls, collaborating with site teams on alternative fulfilment plans.
  • Customer Service Level - Monitor customer service levels, proactively identifies issues, and collaborate with internal teams to develop and recommend solutions to ensure service level delivery.
  • Supply Chain Excellence -Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the supply chain team to drive cost efficiency and process improvement. Proactively seek to improve supply chain processes and contribute to CI project development and delivery

Requirements

  • Min 2+ years experience in supply chain coordination or planning within a meat manufacturing facility.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications with intermediate or advanced excel capability
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with in inventory management systems and demand planning tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with external partners.
