The Team

We are a group of vibrant, diverse people who love travelling and never settle on quality. Each one of us didn’t join Welcome by chance and believes deeply in what Welcome is trying to achieve, so we work relentlessly to make that happen. We challenge common logic, focus on design, put simplicity and usability first, and create memorable experiences. We keep learning and exploring better ways to serve our community and grow personally and professionally in our respective fields. We stay humble along the way, with a “pay it forward” mentality, but with big and bold goals.

As a Pricing Ops Analyst, you will be building and maintaining the analytical backbone of our marketplace pricing. In this role, you’ll model driver/supply costs, benchmark competition, and run scenario analyses that directly inform how we price rides across our global network. You’ll work closely with Destination Operations teams, who gather on-the-ground signals (fuel costs, tolls, local regulations, competitor moves), and transform these into structured cost models and pricing recommendations. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of data, operations, and strategy — directly shaping both our competitiveness and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Own the driver cost / supply cost model: collect and validate inputs (fuel, tolls, parking, insurance, local cost of living) and update assumptions regularly.
  • Build structured cost packs for each destination and SKU, serving as the foundation for pricing and supply planning.
  • Partner with Destination Success teams to funnel local insights (competition, driver signals, market quirks) into the models.
  • Run sensitivity analyses on key cost drivers (e.g., fuel price changes, new taxes, regulatory fees) to flag risks early.
  • Benchmark competitor pricing systematically across top SKUs and destinations, and recommend adjustments.
  • Develop pricing configuration rules (per km, per route, time-of-day, car type) and track their performance.
  • Partner with BI to build automated dashboards that monitor supply cost awareness, cost efficiency, and margin impact.
  • Collaborate with Finance to align pricing decisions with margin and long-term unit economics goals.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis for special initiatives (new service tiers, incentive structures, product launches).

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, business analytics, or marketplace operations.
  • Strong quantitative skills: Excel/Google Sheets power user; SQL/BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau) a plus.
  • Experience building cost models, scenario planning, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Commercially sharp — able to balance competitiveness with profitability.
  • Process-driven, able to manage multiple markets, SKUs, and pricing updates simultaneously.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate data into clear recommendations for local and central teams.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
