POSITION: Presidential Research Associate

LOCATION: Washington, DC

AB PAC, a progressive research and communications organization dedicated to holding Republicans accountable for their words and actions, is hiring a Research Associate to join our Presidential Research Team for the 2026 cycle. This position is based in our Washington, DC, office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team to produce comprehensive opposition research products on the administration and 2028 presidential candidates;

• Collecting information from public sources, including news clips, campaign finance reports, financial and legal records, legislative votes, and research databases;

• Reporting results and findings to senior staff;

• Performing rapid response research projects; and

• Other duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines;

• Strong commitment to teamwork;

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills;

• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and exercise discretion and independent judgment;

• Experience with primary-source documents and research databases such as LexisNexis is preferred; and

• Previous political research experience is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary starting at $65,000 for this position and a strong benefits package.
