Pre-Sales Consultant

Utilize technical expertise and business acumen to guide customers in implementing effective IT solutions while directly supporting the sales team.
We are looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant to support our sales team in promoting and positioning our IT solutions, including Endpoint Management (EV Reach) and IT Service Management (OTRS).
In this role, you will play a key part in the sales cycle by combining technical expertise with strong business understanding. Your goal is to help customers identify and implement the solutions that best fit their needs.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales to qualify customer needs and define solution strategies.
- Lead product demonstrations tailored to specific customer use cases.
- Design and deliver Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Translate technical capabilities into clear business value.
- Support RFP/RFI responses and contribute to technical proposals.
- Address technical objections and ensure overall solution feasibility.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to relay market feedback.
- Stay up to date with product features, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Solid understanding of IT environments (Windows, basic Linux, networking, Active Directory).
- Experience with endpoint management, ITSM tools, and SaaS or on-premise architectures.
- Ability to set up and present demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Background in pre-sales, solution consulting or a technical IT role with customer exposure.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical topics into business value.
- Good understanding of sales processes and customer engagement.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented, proactive, and team-driven approach.
- Ability to explain complex topics in a simple and structured way.
- Degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable practical experience.
- Several years of relevant professional experience (approx. 3–7 years).
Nice to have:
Knowledge of ITIL, experience with APIs/automation, or a background in software vendors or IT service companies
