On-Site Requirements: On-Site  Location: Midtown, Manhattan, New York Schedule: Full-Time    We’re excited to bring our care model to New York and are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Practice Manager to help launch and grow our newest clinic. Reporting to the SVP, Practice Operations, this role will lead all aspects of our operations in New York and be accountable for patient experience, team performance, and financial outcomes.   This role is ideal for someone who is motivated by building something new from the ground up, rather than taking over a fully-formed operation. You will be successful in this role if you have an ownership mindset, outstanding people management skills, and a knack for process development and improvement. Responsibilities:
  • Clinic Launch & Leadership: Lead the successful launch of the New York clinic, including site preparation, staff onboarding, and workflow implementation.
  • Team Management: Hire, train, and manage a team of front office and clinical support staff. Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and compassionate care.
  • Process Development & Improvement: Build and refine processes and technology workflows that enable consistent, high-quality, and efficient service delivery.
  • Performance Management: Own clinic-level operational metrics and financials; use data to track performance, identify trends, and take actions that will drive clinic financial results. 
  • Strategic Planning: Partner with Operations leadership and Finance to develop market budgets and forecasts, and prioritize the initiatives that will drive performance.
  • Growth: Collaborate with our Marketing & Provider Relations teams to support referral relationship development and grow our patient panel in the market. 
  • Day-to-Day Operational Support: Flexibly support Medical Assistants and administrative responsibilities as needed, especially during early clinic operations.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure full compliance with internal policies, HIPAA, and all federal, state, and local regulations.

    Qualifications:
  • Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of healthcare operations experience, including 2+ years in a clinic management or leadership role
  • Experience successfully launching or scaling a healthcare clinic or program
  • Experience managing clinic P&L and performance metrics
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environment
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in obesity medicine, primary care, and / or chronic care management
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth healthcare organization
  • Familiarity with the athenahealth EMR
  • Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or clinical support role
