PR, External Communications & Marketing Lead

At Monks, we’re looking for someone to lead the strategy and execution of PR, and External Communications & Marketing for Monks Argentina. This role will be key in strengthening the company’s positioning (brand, reputation, and thought leadership), accelerating the commercial pipeline through marketing initiatives, and building a strong internal narrative that supports the evolution of the business and culture.

Responsibilities

Marketing: brand strategy, positioning, and growth support

  • Design and execute the annual marketing plan for Argentina, aligned with the business’s commercial priorities.
  • Build and reinforce a clear narrative around Monks (integration, applied AI, craft, case studies).
  • Design and execute initiatives/campaigns focused on awareness, engagement, and top-of-mind.
  • Partner with New Business on commercial and positioning materials: one-pagers, decks, credentials/capabilities, and case studies.

PR & Institutional Relations: media, reputation, and spokespeople

  • Lead relationships with media and journalists, identifying opportunities (articles, interviews, columns, rankings, speaking opportunities).
  • Write and coordinate press releases, key messages, and media kits.
  • Prepare and support spokespeople (business and craft leaders) with briefings for interviews and public appearances.
  • Build partnerships with relevant industry players (associations, partners, communities) to amplify visibility.

External Communications: editorial plan, content, and channels

  • Design and execute the editorial plan (primarily LinkedIn and defined digital channels) with a focus on thought leadership, AI/innovation, craft, and case studies.
  • Create and coordinate strategic content: articles, newsletters, posts, editorial pieces, and cases, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with global guidelines.
  • Manage brand presence across key channels and moments (digital, PR, events), coordinating with internal and external teams.

Awards & Industry Presence: visibility and activations/events

  • Lead the awards calendar: submission strategy, narrative, case development, and asset coordination.
  • Coordinate participation in industry events (owned and third-party) and activations aimed at positioning and growth.

Operations, metrics, and budget

  • Define and track KPIs: reach and engagement, share of voice/mentions, content performance, results of activations and awards.
  • Analyze market and industry trends to identify positioning opportunities.
  • Manage the team’s calendar, priorities, vendors, and budget control.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, PR, or related fields.
  • Experience in the advertising industry and working with media outlets.
  • Advanced English (frequent interaction with regional/global teams).
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing/external communications, branding, PR, and content (ideally B2B).
  • Experience with social media, digital campaigns, and measurement/analytics tools (SEO / email marketing is a plus, if relevant to the plan).
  • Excellent writing skills, strong editorial judgment, and end-to-end execution capabilities (strategy → delivery → measurement).
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate with internal and external teams.
  • Strategic, creative, and results-driven mindset.
