Power Platform Developer

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects, leveraging Microsoft Power Platform to deliver impactful solutions. We are ideally looking for someone who can start immediately and candidates must be UK-based.

We are seeking a Power Platform Developer who is enthusiastic about professional development and skilled in creating innovative applications with Microsoft Power Platform tools specifically Power Apps and Power Automate.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power Platform solutions development and enjoys solving complex business challenges through automation and digital solutions.

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing Power Platform solutions but will also design and deliver new enterprise-grade solutions and take ownership of existing business-built apps to improve, operationalise and align them with company Power Platform guidelines and best practices.

Here's what the role looks like:

• Support and enhance Power Platform solutions (Canvas Apps, Power Automate flows)
• Design, build and implement new enterprise-scale Power Platform solutions from scratch. Develop integrated applications and innovation, intuitive solutions to automate and enhance business processes using Power Platform
• Take over and refactor business-built apps to align with best practices
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Dataverse.
• Embed governance and administration best practices across all Power Platform environments
• Support Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes for Power Platform solutions.
• Configure and manage deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with Power BI Developers to embed analytics into apps.
• Prepare technical documentation and deliver solution handovers.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to build knowledge, experience and understanding of new and existing solutions as a team
• Engage stakeholders to gather technical requirements, architect solutions and execute on deliverables

Requirements

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the following key fundaments coupled with a desire to build a career in the Microsoft solutions sphere.

As a Power Platform Developer you should:

• Be an expert in Power Platform, including Power Apps (both model driven apps and canvas apps), Power Automate and Microsoft Dataverse
• Strong expertise in Power Automate and enterprise-level solution delivery
• Have a proven ability to create professional Power Apps for business users with attractive interfaces, associated views, forms, business rules, relationships and process flows, and be able to incorporate user authentication, data validation and visualisation.
• Experience working with complex security models and customising model driven apps
• Experience integrating PowerBI content into PowerApps
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and working with APIs
• Have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development and testing
• Have experience of integrating Power Apps solutions with Microsoft products, APIs or third-party solutions
• Have experience of building proof of concept and demos
• Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with stakeholders at varying levels
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities
• Have a passion for technology and a desire to learn
