The Portfolio Operations team is crucial for driving revenue growth and cost optimisation. In this role, you’ll coordinate and participate in ensuring accurate and reliable energy reconciliation, submission, and settlement across electricity and gas. You’ll also support the broader Portfolio Operations team as required, including closer partnership with the Network Reconciliation team. Key responsibilities include implementing best practice initiatives to drive transformative change, maintaining effective processes and documentation, and proactively identifying portfolio risks and opportunities to maximise retail revenue and optimise costs. Additionally, you’ll ensure data integrity between systems and develop models to explore opportunities from regulatory frameworks .
To be successful, you’ll need an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail and a commitment to high accuracy. You should be accountable for team results, flexible in your approach, and a strong collaborator who enjoys working in cross-functional teams. A can-do attitude and willingness to try new approaches are essential. Your focus will be on cost management, process optimisation, and value creation, all of which impact EBITDAF. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining revenue and cost forecasts, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and contributing to monthly reviews of Portfolio Operations and costs.

You’ll report to Narinder Kumar (Manager Portfolio Operations), who brings a strong focus on empowering the team to take ownership. The Portfolio Operations team is tight-knit, values fresh thinking, and is genuinely excited to welcome someone who’s ready to step in and make a real impact.
