Civitta provides temporary workers to eu-LISA. Policy Officer As a Policy Officer, you will support the Governance and Stakeholder Management Sector within the Business and Stakeholder Relations Unit. You will work closely with eu-LISA staff, management, and external stakeholders, contributing to policy coordination, stakeholder engagement, and high-level administrative and advisory tasks. You will:
  • Support stakeholder relations with EU institutions, agencies, Member States, international organisations, academia, NGOs, and other partners
  • Prepare and support group and high-level visits in cooperation with the Office of the Executive Director
  • Monitor developments in EU justice and home affairs policies relevant to eu-LISA
  • Provide administrative and advisory support on legislative and policy matters
  • Support eu-LISA’s participation in EU Agencies and Justice and Home Affairs Networks
  • Work closely with the Management Board Secretariat and the BSU communication team
  • Contribute to internal and external communication activities
  • Draft, edit, and review policy and administrative documents, including reports, notes, correspondence, presentations, and meeting minutes
  • Manage document flows and maintain SharePoint-based databases and archives
  • Organise and coordinate meetings, events, seminars, workshops, and high-level conferences
  • Support planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting activities of the Sector
  • Ensure proper document management in line with internal rules and procedures
  • Requirements:
  • Education corresponding to a completed university degree
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience; experience in policy, coordination, or cooperation in an EU or international context is a strong asset
  • Proven experience in policy work, stakeholder relations, and document management
  • Strong drafting, organisational, and coordination skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment
  • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level)
